  • 1 pound Chicken breasts Cut into even-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce For saltiness and umami
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar For sweetness
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Grated for warmth and spice
  • 2 cups Vegetables Bell peppers, onions, and broccoli, cut into similar sizes as chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For cooking and moisture
  • to taste Salt and pepper For flavor enhancement
  • 8 Skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes if wooden

Preparation

  • Begin by prepping your chicken breasts. Pat dry and cut into even-sized pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
  • Add chicken pieces into the marinade, coating well. Allow to soak for 15-30 minutes.
  • Prepare your vegetables by washing and cutting them into similar sizes as the chicken.
  • Alternate chicken pieces and vegetables on the skewers, leaving space between each item.

Grilling

  • Preheat your Blackstone grill to medium-high temperature.
  • Carefully place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Remove skewers from the grill when chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
  • Let the skewers rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, soak wooden skewers beforehand and use vegetables that cook at a similar rate to the chicken. Avoid overcrowding skewers.
