Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts, cubed for tenderness
  • 1 lb bacon for crispy texture
  • 4 cups Yukon gold potatoes, cubed for heartiness
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded for creaminess

Seasoning

  • 1 tsp salt for flavor enhancement
  • 0.5 tsp paprika for mild smokiness
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder for depth of flavor
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder for balanced taste
  • 2-3 tbsp ranch seasoning for a zesty kick

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cube the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside. Slice the bacon into smaller pieces.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the diced bacon. Cook until crispy, about 8-10 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  • Add the cubed chicken to the skillet with the rendered bacon fat. Season with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Add the cubed Yukon gold potatoes to the skillet. Stir to combine and cover. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken and potatoes. Mix everything well.
  • Add shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet and allow it to melt over the warm mixture, stirring gently.

Notes

For best results, cook bacon slowly for more crispiness and ensure chicken is cut into uniform pieces. You can add vegetables for extra nutrition.
