Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 pieces lobster tails (fresh or thawed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (adds richness)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (provides savoriness)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (adds freshness)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet) (for color and flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (enhances overall flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (adds warmth)
  • 1 piece lemon (half juiced, half cut into wedges for serving)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Prepare the lobster tails by cutting through the top shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
  • Pull apart the shell slightly to expose the meat.

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Baking

  • Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, shell side down.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes, checking for doneness with an internal temperature of around 140°F.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool briefly before transferring to a serving dish.
  • Serve with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

Pair baked lobster tails with sides like rice pilaf or garlic mashed potatoes. Leftovers can be enjoyed in cold salads or as a seafood sandwich.
