Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz French dressing
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce whole berry or jellied
  • 1 French onion soup mix packet

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker in a single layer.
  • Pour French dressing over the chicken evenly.
  • Spoon the cranberry sauce over the top of the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the French onion soup mix evenly across the top. Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or on HIGH for 2–3 hours, until chicken is fully cooked (165°F) and tender.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with sauce spooned over each piece.

Notes

Use this dish to repurpose leftover cranberry sauce from the holidays! For a thicker sauce, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes at the end of cooking. Shred the chicken and use in sandwiches or wraps for a second meal.
