Ingredients

  • 6 small tortillas (flour or corn)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or chopped)
  • ½ cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: sliced cherry tomatoes, crushed croutons, chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix cooked chicken, Caesar dressing, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and coat with butter or olive oil.
  3. Place a tortilla in the skillet, add 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture, and spread gently.
  4. Use a spatula to press the filling into a wide, thin layer.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Parmesan over the filling and cover the skillet for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Once the bottom is golden and crispy, transfer to a plate. Flip if you want both sides crisp.
  7. Top with romaine lettuce and any optional extras. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use just enough dressing to coat the chicken — too much can make the tacos soggy. Let chicken come to room temp for best results. Don’t skip the pressing step — it’s what gives the taco that crispy, golden crust.
